Bill Keeth lives in Middleton, Greater Manchester. He has lived in and around north Manchester all his life and worked for many years in Manchester schools. He began writing as a founder member of a writers’ workshop at Manchester College of Building. His debut novel, Every Street in Manchester [ISBN 1859880657] was shortlisted for the Portico Literary Prize, and is available from all good bookshops, including Waterstone’s, Borders and Amazon. A contemporaneous sequel, Manchester Kiss [ISBN 1859880673] was published in the same week as the Portico Literary Prize Presentation Dinner was held.
The first chapter of Every Street in Manchester was originally written as a short story and was only developed into its present novel form shortly after the new Millennium. Manchester Kiss then followed within the same twelve months.
